I shall now come clean.
So, I finally watched all of the FMA series and promptly disappeared into that fandom until...oh, about three days ago. *ducks thrown things* So I haven't really read/written anything HP related in...months. Oops?
Was working some on The Bloody Feather a couple of days ago, you'll all be pleased to know. I'll try and get the next chapter of that finished and posted sometime in the coming week. Honest.

Now! For the reason I'm really here:
I was doing some shelf-reading/inventory in the library today and ended up in the WWII section. An I recalled this HP fic I'd read....a while ago. I don't think I finished it because it was supposed to be Harry/Ginny, but, well, I kinda want to read it again now. I know for sure it was on FFN when I read it. The premise was something along the lines of Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny getting sent back in time somehow - don't remember how. They end up in the Founder's time and the Founders share their memories with the kids so they can speak the same language and manage classes - something about the differences in what they'd been taught in the different centuries.... Well, so the kids stay for a year, then they get to time-hop forward but it's not QUITE their time. It's , ah, Albus' Hogwarts years? I think? That, or WWII.
At any rate, I'm interested in when they went to the WWII time. Hermione and Ron got put into camps. Was ugly.
Anyone know the fic?

Okay! So, he's the whole shebang, as my mum would say.
I have a paper due next Tuesday that I haven't really had the chance to work on because of Katsucon. I've also got that original fic I should be working on, even though my next chapter isn't actually due until the second of March.

Basically, don't expect any updates for a while.
Well, I mean, I plan on updating Playing Favourites soon - I just need to look over that next chapter - and I'll keep posting the original as I write it. (I may even post the reworking of the first chapter, if you guys want.)
Any drabbles that pop into my head will go up. If I manage to get a good idea for one of my fics - consider them all ON HIATUS for now, I'll change that on FFN shortly - I'll certainly post them.

So, I'll add this note again to the end of the next chapter of Playing Favourites.

So, I have a couple of things I was thinking about ranting about yesterday - 'cause I could - but I held back on account of feeling the undeniable urge to finish The Bonds of the Heart. Finally.
But an email I got today bothered me so much, that I felt the need to not only rant about what I was thinking yesterday, but also about the email I got today.

I feel that I must credit iwishthat with making this rant difficult to write - we were chatting on AIM when I started it.

( So I shall rant. Feel free to ignore it. )

So, yeah. The not-so-active author returns at last.
Nevermind that I have three papers I should be writing. Or a project. Or a skit. -.-*
I hate end of the term....

My "Christmas" Break will be spent making money and suffering through my grandmother who, while I love her dearly, drives me nuts.

I have a lack of fic ideas- Well, no, I take that back. I have a new fic in the works, but as I'm not quite sure I like it and I'm letting the madly busy magickmaker17 abuse it with her betaing, it won't be going up any time soon. Maybe, if I feel any pleasure when working on it over the holidays, I shall post a chapter or two.

I've got a one-shot that I started in January or this year - the challenge came to me last Christmas - and I wanted to have it done by now, since I could put it up as a Christmas gift to the challenge-giver or something, but Tom and Harry haven't yet decided who's going to top and I've just left them at their silent arguement. Those two are so difficult sometimes!! *throws hands up into air*


So, the basics is that there's very little chance that anything will make it up anytime this year - and I mean that literally. Perhaps I'll be lucky and get a break over Break - that was a bad one, Bats - and have something up in time for the holidays or, at the least, the New Year.

We'll see. Keep your fingers crossed!!

So, I've started re-working Abandon, as I've been promising myself for a while now that I'd do. The first chapter is done and up. I've also decided I'd start posting all the chapters here at Lj, but I want to backdate it so it's put up on the date that I originally posted that chapter. So that means using reviews to date the chapters - curse you, FFN - unless some true psycho has all of the dates of the chapters logged.

I'm not holding my breath. Trust me.


I just sang a resounding chorus of Hermione Got Run Over By A Death Eater for mum and she said, "I think I need to go to bed, because you're starting to make sense". XD
On that note, I'm thinking of heading for bed myself.

My laptop's broke - the screen's having a shit-fit on me - and all my stuff's on it. I'm gonna make an effort to find the stuff I've got hidden somewhere to turn my hard drive to an external one so I can plug it into mum's laptop, which is the one I'm currently on and that I hate, by the way... The Forgotten, To Be A Woman, and Their Secret Lives are all playing the funk game, as it were. Riddle's "Little" Problem and I were gettin' on great, until I started working again and my baby broke. T_T
Got a couple new fics that I'm in the process of - I need to stop doing this to myself - and I may or may not put up when I find that hard drive conversion thing. *mutters*

Next chapter of Their Secret Lives is stuck in a plothole, I don't have time to work on it though, so it will have to wait. I'll think on it until then. ^.^"

Riddle's "Little" Problem has had some work on it, but it's got a small wall in the way - Hermione's being a pain. -.-

So, there you go! My computer's still not fixed, so all writing I do has to be done during Computer class, at work, or in the study room late at night. I'm working on it, here.

So, to keep ya'll updated:

My computer's harddrive his corrupt - basically, it's slowly eating itself - so I have to get a new harddrive, which won't happen until mid-March when I go home for Spring Break. As most of my writing time has always been on my laptop - the broken one - I won't be able to do much outside my notebooks, which I've always made use of in class, which won't happen this semester because I need to take notes.

Basically, don't expect anymore updates until mid-March.

*waves* I'm back and much more cheerful than the last update. I have a midterm tomorrow and another on Friday, though. Bit stressed here.... *nervous look*

I laughed at the flame, too. It was complaining about Doo's name and his unbalanced emotional state... *giggles* Then it was commented that the flamer hoped I wasn't like Doo, lest I throw myself off a bridge. I was highly amused. Too bad they didn't leave an email address, I'd like to tell them that they're a good three years late if they wanted me to commit suicide over a flame.

Of Angels and Demons: Wheeeee!! I've been working on this one a lot lately, since my writer's block died. I hope to have it finished within another week or so, but I have to wait until magickmaker17 has the chance to beta it, since she's already betaed half of it and she called it months ago. *sticks tongue out at her other, various betas*

Riddle's "Little" Problem: I should have the next chapter up in a day or two. *amused look*

Sooooooo.... I think I'm gonna go make myself some Ramen, 'cause I'm kinda hungry and I must stay up to study for my American Cinema's midterm. *facepalm* I should have studied earlier.... T.T

Alas, there will be no Reclaim update this week. I got side-tracked with Riddle's "Little" Problem for the first part of break, then had a couple emotional breakdown-ish issues and haven't been fit for much of anything but a couple pet projects that'll probably never see the public, so may suck as they wish.

I'll try and get the next chapter of The Forgotten up ASAP, as well as throw up the next chapter of Riddle's "Little" Problem(The chapters are all really short, so writing it has proven to be easy and rather fun, actually).

I didn't get enough sleep last night and I'm supposed to be in class right now, but the rain isn't helping my emotional status right now, so I might just go lay down until work tonight.

Well, I've come down with another cold. I think I need sleep. Yeah... Sleep would be nice... *sighes*


The next chapter of The Forgotten is at the beta. I have hopes for its return sooner, rather than later.

I have gotten past my touch of writer's block with the last part of the Of Angels and Demons triliogy and shall get to work on it as soon as I feel up to it. Probably not till later this weekend, if at all this weekend. -.-*

Next chapter of Reclaim is written, I just have to send it off to beta. I hope to have it up on time for Weds.
